Question of the Week L!

50 Questions of the Week!  Almost a full  year of questions!

As we get ready for that big year mark, let’s talk about another way to mark time.

A time signature is a set of numbers that comes before a piece of music.  It tells us how to track the rhythm of the music.  Most of us know c (common time) which is 4/4 time. It’s common time because it’s so popular and easy to understand.

What about a time signature like 7/4?  Without an even number of beats in a measure, the rules change a little bit from 4/4.  So in 7/4, how many beats does a half note get?
